Dari Pengkotbah Cilik Jadi Pengidap HIV/AIDS Cerita Motivasi dan Inspirasi Nomor 1

Pada tahun 1983, kota Tarutung, Sumatera Utara dibuat heboh oleh seorang anak balita bernama Kaleb Otniel Hutahaean yang dapat menyembuhkan orang sakit hanya dengan berdoa. Dalam waktu singkat namanya menyebar ke berbagai pelosok Indonesia, dan undangan berkotbah untuk Kaleb pun mulai membanjir.

“Orang otomatis mulai mengenal nama saya, dalam satu bulan bisa kurang lebih dua puluh harian di luar rumah,” jelas Kaleb.

Diusianya yang baru tiga tahun, Kaleb sudah harus melayani panggilan berkotbah ke berbagai penjuru kota di Indonesia. Karena hal ini, orangtua Kaleb menitipkannya ke salah satu kerabat di Jakarta.

Sekalipun Kaleb menjadi anak ajaib yang dipakai Tuhan untuk menyembuhkan banyak orang, Kaleb tetap berprilaku seperti anak pada umumnya.

“Kalau dia habis kotbah, dia turun, dia langsung main-main seperti biasa,” jelas Ibu Hutapea, ibu angkat Kaleb yang mengurusnya saat itu.

Superiority Comes from Character, Not Blood
