Dibutuhkan Segera! Peta Sukses Cerita Motivasi dan Inspirasi Nomor 1

Semua orang ingin sukses, sayangnya tiap orang mempunyai pengertian yang berbeda tentang sukses.

Saat menonton DVD yang berjudul Titi Tata, salah satu bagian menjelaskan bahwa sukses yang tampak dari luar akan mudah pudar. Akhirnya saya sadar bahwa pengertian sukses bersifat pribadi artinya bisa saja seseorang menganggap dirinya belum sukses padahal orang lain menganggap dia sudah sukses.

Namun demikian apapun definisi kita tentang sukses, dibutuhkan pedoman/peta agar dapat sukses. Cara yang umum ditempuh adalah menentukan tujuan hidup kita.

Dalam buku 7 Kebiasaan Hidup Yang Efektif, Stephen Covey mengilustrasikan tujuan hidup ini dengan pertanyaan kita mau dikenang sebagai apa saat kita meninggal.

Dalam tradisi Timur analogi yang mirip dengan hal itu adalah cerita tentang 4 orang istri seperti yang ditulis Bpk Handaka dalam buku Illuminata. Cerita singkatnya sebagai berikut: Pada jaman dahulu hidup pedagang yang sangat kaya dan memiliki 4 orang istri. Pedagang tersebut sangat mencintai istri ke-4 dan membanjirinya dengan berbagai fasilitas hidup yang mewah. Pedagang itu juga mencintai istri ke-3 yang cantik namun karena hal itu maka pedagang itu sering cemburu. Istri ke-2 juga disayang oleh pedagang itu karena sabar dan penuh pengertia

Superiority Comes from Character, Not Blood
