Mendongeng di Kelas Cerita Motivasi dan Inspirasi Nomor 1

Bila Anda diminta membaca, maka buku yang mana yang akan Anda pilih: ’Harry Potter’ nya JK Rowling atau ’Anna Karenina’ nya Leo Tolstoy? Saya pikir, kebanyakan orang akan memilih membaca Harry Potter yang memakai bahasa gaul yang mudah dimengerti dengan alur cerita menarik ketimbang Anna Karenina yang bahasanya ’njlimet’, cerita klasik, dan kalimatnya panjang-panjang. Menurut Bapak Her Suharyanto, salah satu pembicara di workshop “Cara Cerdas Menulis Buku Best-Seller batch XI’ pada bulan Agustus 2009 di Jakarta, sekarang ini tren bahasa untuk penulisan buku popular sudah berubah, yaitu dari bahasa baku yang pakem menjadi menggunakan gaya bahasa narative atau gaya bahasa ’mendongeng’ yang lebih fleksibel dan gaul.

Untuk tren menulis buku, gaya bahasa narative memang merupakan tren baru, penulis seperti sedang mendongeng saja layaknya. Akan tetapi bagi warisan budaya, gaya mendongeng bukanlah merupakan hal yang baru.
